Submission Guidelines
1. It is not necessary to register a copyright
on your work before submitting it.
2. Submissions are not accepted or
reviewed in person. Submission can
either be by email or hard copy
mail.
a. We prefer submissions by .mus file (common to
the Finale family of products).
b. Submissions by PDF file or legible hard copy
score are also acceptable.
c. As long as they are legible, handwritten
manuscripts are fine.
d. A quality recording of an actual
performance by a choral group is helpful, but by no means necessary.
3. We do not accept unsolicited
submissions of multi-part major works, cantatas or musicals. If you wish to submit a larger work, please
contact us prior to submission and we will let you know if we would like to
review it.
4. Depending on the time of year it can
sometimes take several weeks before you will hear from us.
5. If the pieces submitted are not 100%
your own original work, permission and contact information from the other party
or copyright holder is required at the time of submission. If the other work is
in the public domain, a copy of the source document demonstrating the public
domain status is required.
6. Please do not send us scores for
review that are being looked at by other publishers. If we receive a score for
review, we will assume we are the only publisher reviewing it for possible publication.
7. PLEASE DO NOT send your only copy of the score. Any materials you wish to have returned to
you should be sent along with a postage paid return envelope.
